Sec 2 & 3 NPCC Muslim Cadets for ATC/STC

Dear Sec 2 & 3 Muslim cadets,



As you have friday prayers to attend as usual this week, special arrangements have been planned for you.



It is advised that you attend friday prayers at a mosque nearer to Changi Jetty like Pasir Ris and Tampines. (All muslim boys in Area 6 schools are encouraged to do this.) This is to ensure that there is sufficient time for you to get to Changi Jetty immediately after your Friday prayers. You are required to reach Changi jetty at 2:30pm.



Thus pls arrange with your Sec 3 NCO e.g. Naveen Sir to go attend friday prayers together and then head to Changi Jetty so that you will be safer in a group. A teacher from Monfort Sec and some Muslim CIs will meet you there and bring all of you to the campsite.

Shooting Competition (Preliminary Round)

Dear cadets,

11 Sec 3s and 4s seniors are representing our unit and the school in the coming Inter-unit shooting competition (Preliminary round) this coming 3 June Thurs at 1pm at Home Team Academy.

There will be an important swearing in ceremony next monday at Peicai Secondary School from 3-6pm. Besides it, it will also be our area games day. Do expect yourselves to be participating in the games that day.

End of Year Overseas Expedition

Dear All,

In alignment with the school's strategic thrust, which is to allow Andersonians to be developed more holistically in this globalized environment, we are planning for an overseas trip during the December holidays at the end of this year.

We are tentatively looking at Taiwan. If anyone of you have any other countries in mind, you may want to provide us with your inputs, subjected to the following conditions:

1. Non-Asean Countries (if you aren't sure which are the Asean countries, please do a google check.)
2. Not too pricey, as there is only a certain amount that the school can subsidize, subjected to your family income per month.

As this overseas expedition will be greatly beneficial to you as it is going to widen your horizons, we encourage you to sign up for it. To ensure that you can be placed on the list of consideration, you may want to consider the following from now on:

1. Excellent CCA attendance
2. Enthusiastic participation in all NPCC activities
3. Excellent academic results and/or value-add in your academic results
