 The 12 participating teams will be divided into 3 groups of 4 teams, where
each team will play two games in the group stage.
 Every match will have one referee. All decisions made by referees are final.
 If teams do not turn up on time for their matches after three calls, the opposing team gets a walkover score of 1-0. If teams turn up late, they can still participate in their remaining matches.
 The match starts when the opposition team kicks off. When a goal is scored, the team that has conceded the goal receives the ball and the goalkeeper is allowed to bring the ball back into play immediately after the referee’s whistle.
 If the match ends with a draw, there will be penalty where teams will be given a maximum of three kicks each. If it continues to be a draw, team will toss the coin to determine the winner for the match.
 Goalkeepers must not leave the penalty area and must not hold the ball longer than 6 seconds in his penalty area.
 Outfield players (both attacking and defending players) must not enter the penalty area. If a player from the defending team enters the penalty area, the other team receives ball possession. If a player from the attacking team enters the penalty area, the other team will be in possession of the ball.
 Awarded penalties must start from the half-way line. Player is allowed one touch of the ball before taking the shot. There would be a total of two touches. Shots must be taken before the penalty area. Any shots taken before the semi-circle will be void. Possession will then be returned to the other team.
 All free kicks are indirect. All players in the opposing team must be at a minimum distance of 2 feet from the ball when a free kick is being taken. The referee awards a free kick for all fouls on the field except for any offence which is seen as a ‘penalty offence’ such as deliberate fouls, tripping or elbowing, etc
 If the ball goes out of play, it must be placed at ground level at the position where the ball went out of the field of play and passed to another player. If the ball goes out of play behind the goal, the team whose goal is on that side gains a goal kick.
 In the event of a foul or unfair play, the referee may judge as follows:
- Yellow card (1 minute match exclusion) – a player given a yellow card will be sent off for one minute and not allowed back on while the team has to play with one less player
- Red card (match penalty) – a player is given a red card for serious foul play, violent conduct or protest against referee’s decisions, where he is then excluded from the rest of the match and no replacement player is allowed.
