Saturday Training for Sec 3

Dear Sec 3 cadets,

Two Saturday training will be set aside to better equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge before you take over the unit from the current Sec 4 and 5.

The dates are:

i) 26 March 8am-12pm

ii) 2 April 8am-12pm

*Attire: Bring Full Uniform and PT kit.

Training programs are as followed:

Day 1 (26 Mar 2011):
8am - 9am : PT (guided by HO and CIs)
9am - 11am : Campcraft -- Tent Pitching
11am - 12pm : Uniform Ettiquette & Uniform Preparation

Day 2 (02 April 2011):
8am - 9am : PT (Sec 3s take over)
9am - 11am : Campcraft -- Flagstaff
11am - 12pm : Uniform Check and Drills

Note: These two Saturday will be COMPULSORY for all Sec 3 cadets. Attendance will be taken by the teacher in charge on that Saturday.

Sec 1 Police Heritage Centre Visit

Dear Sec 1 cadets,

We will be visiting the Police Heritage Centre this friday.

• Police Heritage Centre is located at the Police Headquarters, New Phoenix Park (NPPk), 28 Irrawaddy Road, Singapore 329560, Tower P, 1st & 2nd Floor.

• All visitors to the Police Heritage Centre are required to bring along their Photo ID i.e. IC/Driving Licence/Student Pass on the day of visit in order to gain admittance into the Police Headquarters or they will be turned away immediately if failing to do so.

• Visitors are strictly prohibited from using their camera phone / camera (i.e. both flash & digital) and/or videocam within the New Phoenix Park premise, including the centre. Approval has to be sought in advance.

• If you do not receive an email confirmation from us after you have sent in your PHC Appointment Form on your scheduled tour within two days, please notify us.

• As there is a distance between the Guardhouse and the Police Heritage Centre that is unsheltered, please bring along your wet weather gear (ie. umbrella or raincoat, poncho)

Attire: Full school uniform. NO School PE T-shirts pls.

Pls gather at Porch latest by 1:50 pm. You will be back in school by latest 5pm. Sec 1s will be dismissed after returning to school.

Unit Camp Dates & Timings

Dear Parents & Cadets,

Just a last minute announcement to all.

Camp will end on Thurs 17 March at 6pm for All Npcc cadets.

We will be camping in school through the camp. Thus rest assured that your child/ward or your parents will be able to contact you even though hps are safekept.

Do not bring:
Your Ipod,MP3/MP4 Players, Cameras, Games consoles -you wouldn’t have a chance to use them.
Snacks/Food - Meals will be provided.
All valuables (Wallets/Handphone) will be kept in the NP room; so don’t bring anything unnecesssay.

Dear Sec 3 & Sec 4/5 cadets, you should have another night in school. So do pack accordingly.

Cadets who have not yet gotten or sign the consent form you can download a copy from anderson portal. All signed copies can be submitted latest upon camp start.

Camp Familiarization Trip

Dear Sec 1 cadets,

These are the details for this Saturday Camp Familiarization Trip :

Time to report : Reach school by 7.15am (Bus will leave school at 7.30am sharp.)

Time back to school: Around 7pm.

Attire : Anderson PE T-shirt & Track Pant. (To serve as protection from mosquito bites)

Things to bring :

1. 1 x more EXTRA school PE T-shirt

2. a small towel (to wept your sweats)

3. water bottle

4. Insect Repellent (Most important !!! )

*Note: There will be quite a lot of walking, thus please be travel-light. (Don't bring too many things!! )

**If your parents are picking you up, ask to them come at around 6.55pm to 7.10pm.

CIP today at Ci Yuan CC

Dear Sec 2 & 3 NPCC Parents/Guardians,

This is to let you know that our NPCC unit is doing CIP at Ci Yuan CC this late afternoon to evening today. Dinner is provided and 2-way transport has been kindly arranged by the organiser.

We thank you for your continuous support.

Sec 1 Camp Familiarisation

Dear new Sec 1 cadets,

Shooting Course on 23rd Feb 2011

Dear Sec 2 and 3 cadets,

As your shooting course will commence soon, please return all signed forms (with cash payment for students without edusave) to your respective teachers, Mr Kwok or Ms Sim by latest Mon 14th Feb.
Sec 3s, your only dry shoot practice is on 25th Feb. HQ has kindly agreed for you to be in half school uniform. Bus will be booked for you.

Your strict compliance pls as the deadline has kindly been postponed already.
